Don’t push me cause I’m close to the edge. This line from a rap song is a classic and the perfect example of why we should not provoke people. In our society everyone seems to have a short fuse and just a little nudge can push them into oblivion. Self control seems to be a thing of the past.

When provoked anything is subject to happen and normally not in a good way. I live on the positive side of life. If it can go good it will and when it does not, I’m surprised. But the word provoke just gives me a vision of something negative.

That being said there are times when stimulation and being provoked turn into something really good. It’s all in the perception of the individual. A great example would be how this is my first post for the daily word and how the word provoke was the motivation needed to cause the action. Thanks for provoking me into action.
