FEBRUARY IS HEART MONTH
Handle with care is something your will find on a package containing articles considered fragile. We can find this labeling in stores on glass and different items where care should be taken. Eggs need to handled with care to avoid breaking. Even though you can hold an egg a certain way in your hand and it would be very difficult to break.
What about people? Some people are too fragile and can be easily broken, damaged, feeling hurt quickly and so on. The toughest person you know has a “fragile” point that can break them down if they are not handled with care.
The truth is everyone needs to be handled with care. The way we treat each other is very important. You may not agree but everyone is delicate and needs handled a certain way.
If you spend a little time with me, you will discover you can’t treat me any kind of way and continue our relationship. How does the old saying go, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. In other words it is your responsibility to make sure people treat you right.
Go find a sticker “Handle With Care” not because you are fragile but because you are delicate and have expectations on how you are handled. I have discovered people will treat you exactly how you let them. If you allow someone to treat you any kind of way, shame on you.
God treats you a certain kind of way all the time. He treats us like a like a good Shepard treats his flock and deals with us individually. His word teaches us in Psalms 13: 5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
