Backup Plan

This is the plan and we are going to follow it to the letter. If it doesn’t work, this is plan B. I can follow this logic with my firefighting background and training. Then we implement the contingency plan. I have seen situations (in movies) where the fall guy takes the wrap when plan doesn’t work.

We can really get out on a limb with no thought about the consequences, then look around to see who will bail us out. That’s how I use to live my life. And when things go really bad, we pray. Come on you know I’m telling the truth, been there done that.

God can not be your backup plan. He needs to be the plan. What I can honestly tell you is with him you do not need a plan B and it can’t be explained with logic. His word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will direct our path.”
